Why God Used D.L. Moody
D.L. Moody was considered one of the greatest evangelists in the 19th century. From humble beginnings, Moody was to affect the lives of countless thousands through the ministry God gave him. What made him so successful? Why did people flock to hear the Gospel through him? R.A.Torrey, a close associate, outlined seven key areas that defined Moody and, in his opinion, are necessary for successful ministry. “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance” (Prov.1:5).

The Life That Wins
Charles Trumbell outlines his personal journey from a defeated believer to a victorious Christian. Many can relate to his candidness about his own failures before besetting sins. Rather than succumb to his own failures, he sought ought those who could take him beyond where he was to the place God had called him (and us), to “The Life That Wins”. He learned that the secret to a victorious life in not in methodologies but as one wise counsellor told him, “The secret is Jesus.”
